Trainer Angelica Baciu
A graduate of the Pedagogical High School in Brăila, teacher-educator specialization, since 1998 I have doubled my teaching career by following the courses of the University of Music in Bucharest.
At the same time, in the first year of the University, I was admitted as a chorist, eventually becoming a lyrical artist, in the “MADRIGAL” National Chamber Choir, conducted by maestro Marin Constantin.
I have been a music teacher for more than 20 years, obtaining the definitive teaching degree in 2005 and the second teaching degree in 2011.
The artistic activity, harmoniously intertwined with the didactic one, culminating in 2011 with the active involvement, both professionally and emotionally, in a project that would become, in 2014, a National Program founded by the conductor Ion Marin, organized under the auspices of the “MADRIGAL” National Chamber Choir.
Cantus Mundi is a program for the social integration of children through choral music.
As a Cantus Mundi trainer, I have taught dozens of thematic workshops and webinars dedicated to thousands of conductors, teachers, choir coordinators or children’s groups from all over the country.
I founded, coordinated and promoted children choirs belonging to mainstream schools, special schools or coming from different disadvantaged categories. I have worked with typical children and, above all, with atypical children (with disabilities or special educational requirements).
I teach courses and thematic workshops in several educational institutions, such as: Montessori School, Bucharest School for the Visually Impaired, Secondary School No. 79, Lycée Français Anna de Noailles, Adiwelt Kindergarten. Since 2017, I have been collaborating with the Comic Opera for Children, in the “Little Artist” workshops.
I contributed to the creation of two school manuals, being one of the authors of the manual “Music and Movement for Third grade” and the manual “Musical Education for Fifth grade”, both edited by Corint Publishing House.
As a lyrical artist in the National Chamber Choir MADRIGAL, I participated in hundreds of concerts both in the country and abroad, on big stages around the world, but also in schools or even hospitals. Children – members of the Cantus Mundi choirs – often sang with us, showing the world that we are all equal, that we all have the same chances and that music can unite us!
Psychologist Dana Mușat
I graduated from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences U.A.I.C. Iași, the Department of Psychopedagogy, in 1997, and since then I have been working with children. I perfected myself by following a master’s degree and various training in the field, but I learned and evolved most in direct activities with children and, last but not least, with their parents.
When I became a mother, challenges appeared at every turn. My daughters, Ruxandra and Ioana stimulate and inspire me to constantly look over resources and solutions. They reinforced my belief that the desire for knowledge is innate, and how we manage to maintain this joy and spontaneity is up to us as adults.
The knowledge and experiences gained as a specialist are put into practice in activities such as: correcting language disorders, developing communication skills through stories and creative activities, supporting schoolchildren in activities of learning.
The tools used were perfected over years of experience and learning. Activities are adapted to the needs of each child. Alongside parents, the skills acquired by children in the office are practiced in different contexts, at home, in the park, etc. Thus, the child can turn every life experience into a learning experience.
Together we can discover the innate potential of our children and develop it, rediscover our inner child and give children the landmarks they need to grow up beautifully and harmoniously.
